Nikmat Syukur

Setiap kali melihat foto ini akan membawa saya ke tahun 2022.  Hari yang sedih buat kami sebab ketika itu cucunda baru berusia 1 tahun 3 bulan.  Dan dia akan d bawa ke kota ratu oleh kedua ummi dan abah atas tugasan.

Yang membuat hati remuk kerena tak dapat memeluk cucunda kerana kami covid +ve kecuali cucunda dan kedua orang tua nya.  Ucapan selamat jalan hanya dengan melihat dia melalui jendela dan menyentuk tangan nya yg kecil di jendela itu.

Alhamdulillah Allah kurniakan lagi usia untuk bertemu mereka tahun lepas 2023 apabila mereka pulang bercuti.

Nikmat Allah yang patut di syukuri.

Very busy morning for Aqeela and family.  These past 2 days, I sat on the stairs outside to be under the sun.  They said people with covid need to be under the sun.  So that's what I did.

While sitting on the stairs, from the glass window,  I can see Ihsan with his ummi and abah still doing last minute packing.  Ihsan was watching something on ipad.  When he saw me, he quickly went to the window.  Our fingers on the window but we can't touch or hold his litter fingers.  Looking at Ihsan via the glass window,  it felt so near but so so far away.  When he saw his grandpa and both their fingers touching the glass window, its like in a movie, so sad to see it.  Ihsan tried to push the frame to open the window to get to his grandpa, but its a fixed window.  Poor Ihsan!  

By 9.30am Hirzie parents came to pick up their luggages. By 11.30am we all went outside to say farewell to Ihsan and family.  Really wanted to hug them so bad, but having covid really spoilt everything.  We didn't even get to send them off to the airport for the 9.50pm flight tonite.  

1230pm they were at the airport to check in their luggages.  90KG!!  After all done, they ate lunch and went to Jerudong to rest.  They also called Ihsan great grandparents to say goodbye before their flight tonite.

Though we are not there to send them off, May Allah make every step of your journey, immigration and custom clearance an easy one. May you all safely arrive at your destination and all luggages are safe.  May the driver that pick you up a good gentleman and safely send you to your hotel.  May your stay there Allah grands good health, knowledge, rezeki that you can't imagine.  Aamiin  aamiin aamiin.

JPMC

 16 May 2022 (15 Syawal 1443)

Today we (Ihsan, Aqeela & me) went to JPMC.  We left 6.45am and arrived around 7.45am.  I was anxious about parking space due to we are on endemic stage and people starting to go back to work as normal.  If parking full, I have to drop them off  while I go back to the parking lot and go use the shuttle bus. 

Alhamdulillah, after registering, we waited to be called.  After all the necessary documentation and questions, Aqeel then went to ground floor for her x-Ray.  Ihsan & I remained on 1st floor and after his mom left he fell asleep.  After we saw the Dr and get the document for the Visa, we left JPMC to go to town.  Ihsan was asleep all the way to town to go for breakfast.

Ihsan was very good.

We went for lunch at Country Patch.  Ihsan saw kids and he was excited to see them.  Even though he was eating, he looked at them and say something which I can't make head or tail what it was.  Baby talk!

We reached home near to 2pm

Had a good outing with Ihsan and Aqeela today.  Alhamdulillah!

 

Visa Outing

25 May 2022 (24 Syawal 1443)

Today Ihsan, Aqeel and I left home for BSB for UK visa appointment around 0645.  We left early to avoid traffic.  Fortunately since we were early, the visa centre in town center at PGGMB building, was easy to get to.  We arrived 30 minutes early.  That was the building where we did our visa for umrah in 2019. 

Since it is early, so we went to the balcony to watch tamu Kianggeh, Brunei River, and the boats and cars passing by.  We also saw the new bridge i.e Sg Kebun Bridge.  Of course, we also took some pictures to remember us by.  Very nice view.

It took awhile at the visa centre.  Even though Aqeel had uploaded the necessary documents, when applied she has included the payment for scanning the printouts, so they did on her behalf.  

Ihsan of course seeing new surrounding, he wanted to look around.  I had to go back to the car to get the stroller,  Ihsan so heavy.  With the stroller I walked him around while waiting.  I brought him to the balcony couple of times so that he won't get bored.  While inside the visa centre, Aqeel fed him. During that time, the staff had done the scanned and upload, and wanted to take picture of Ihsan.  He was so sleepy and we had to wake him up.  Poor Ihsan!  It took a while to wake him up,

They informed no fast track now for visa as now the regulations is about 6 weeks to get approved.  May Allah make it easy for Aqeel & Ihsan's applications.  Aamiin.

After all done, we went for breakfast.  Trying to go to Gadong area but, car parking full.  So I droved to Country Patch and we had our breakfast.  Ihsan was asleep once we left the visa centre and carried him inside the restaurant and put him in the stroller.  Funny thing is, when the food arrived, he woke up!!  He ate with us and enjoyed it!!

A good outing today.

We have another outing with grandpa and Mushu, In Shaa Allah. 

p/s visa Ihsan finally got approved first week of August 2022.

Ihsan's check up

12 May 2022 (11 Syawal 1443)

Today  bringing Ihsan and his mom for Ihsan 12 month check up and injections at Liang Clinic.

On arrival at the clinic, I waited in the car due to covid they only allow the baby and mom since 2 years ago.

When they returned, the mom said Ihsan such a good boy.  Ihsan got 2 injections - one on each arm. Ihsan didn't cry!  He is so brave!! Bravo Ihsan!!

At the clinic, Ihsan was so loud said his mom, shouting at a girl and a boy and laughing at them but no one play with Ihsan.  Ihsan is a friendly baby and he wants friends to play with.  

I think Ihsan is  people and an extrovert baby!  He is not shy! 

When Ihsan in the car he read his book while sitting on his car seat.

May Allah protect you always Ihsan.  Aamiin.

Me Day with Ihsan

 9 May 2022 (8 Syawal 1443)

Today it was raining heavily.  I was supposed to meet my friend at Soon Lee Seria around 1030am to pick up my masks.  Due to the rain she told me to come another day instead.  I also have to go to Pandan to have "me day" with Ihsan as his mom has dental appointment

It was raining all the way to KB.  When I arrived, Ihsan was having his lunch.  Once he saw me, he wanted me to pick him up.  Tried to settle him so that he continued eating.  But he kept on taking out his feet from the high chair and doesn't want to eat.  So finally, I just pick him up and he sat on my lap.

After his mom cleaned him up, his mom got ready for the appointment.

So Ihsan slept from 2.45pm and at 3.30pm I tried to feed him his milk from the bottle.  Apparently, he push it away.  He is actually fully breastfeed. He then continued to sleep till his dad came from work and his mom also arrived at the same time Ihsan was still asleep.   I missed having him around especially when he slept in my arms, sobs..sobs..  I am going to miss that very much.

Birthday Bash Ihsan

7 May 2022 (6 Syawal 1443)

We going for a party today!  Whose party?  Its Ihsan 1st birthday gathering at their house in Pandan.

Wow! When we arrived at Ihsan's house, they decorated one of the rooms to become Hundred Aker Wood.  So nice! There were not 1 but 2 birthday cakes!  Beautiful cakes! So yummyyyy!! And somehow to our surprise,  we wore blue also to Ihsan birthday theme balloon color (we didn't know about the color)!! We were told to go casual but since we were going to go to my aunt's (nenek Uda) house, so we wore the Eid dresses.  And we looked and blended so nice when we took the group photos with Ihsan!

We begin the celebration with a prayer.  And Ihsan kept touching the karaoke set.  It was brought my Ihsan dad from his parents house so that we can play the birthday song!!

Opening his gifts was fun! Presents from both grandparents and families!  I like the gift from Ihsan parents where Ihsan photos was converted into a book of pics of Ihsan and closest families.  This book is a precious treasure for Ihsan! Well done to the parents!!

After Ihsan house, we went to nenek Uda (Atok Ayah's sister in law).  Have not seen her since the covid19.  She looks healthy (age 77 years old). And it was really good to see her.

Menjadi anak yang soleh, diberikan keahlian dalam agama Allah serta diajarkan tafsir kitab Allah.  

Semuga berjaya dunia dan akhirat!  Aamiin.

 

Ihsan Shafi'e

7 May 2021 (26 Ramadhan 1442)

Hari yang di nanti nanti kan akhir nya tiba.  Tarikh kegembiraan buat kami sekeluarga di mana kelahiran cucu pertama Ihsan Syafi'e.  Lahir selepas maghrib jam 6.48 malam ( 7 May 2021 bersamaan dengan 26 Ramadhan 1442) dengan berat 3.44kg.

Kita (saya, anak dan menantu) lepas subuh pergi ke hospital. Hospital staff nya mesra dan bilik dah di sediakan dan kami yang menunggu dapat rehat. 

Sebab bulan Ramadhan, jadi apa yang di buat berdoa doa dan doa.  Saya jadi runner untuk anak dan menantu jika ada yang diperlukan disebabkan menantu menemani anak di labour room.  Sekali sekala ada juga dia menjengok kita di bilik.

Anak nampak tenang saja walau dia menunggu untuk melahirkan.

Neknda doakan agar Ihsan Syafi'e menjadi anak yang soleh yang mendoakan kedua orang tua, berjaya dunia dan akhiran serta moga mendapat ilmu yang memberi menafaat.  YA Allah, berikan dia keahlian dalam agamaMU dan ajarkan dia tafsir kitabMU.  Aamiin.
