Melaka Afamosa Feb 2006 - elephant called Ah Moi |
Born the longest among your siblings at 53cm in length, second heaviest at 2.89kg, you were born at 0418 hours on 11th May 1999 (25 Muharam 1420 hijrah).
I had no complications whatsoever during my pregnancy. Though I actually had one miscarriage on my fourth pregnancy after returning home during holidays from Nigeria. I think I was three months pregnant when I had the miscarriage.
Your were my fifth pregnancy. Through out my pregnancy we were in Nigeria as your father and I were crossposted there. Alhamdulillah, I had no morning sickness. I just went for the regular pre natal check up. When I realised I was pregnant I was thinking where would I give birth. There were also the airline regulations that pregnant ladies 7 months and above are not allowed to travel. We were thinking of how best when the situation arises. We aslo asked around those who were crosposting. All had the opinion that it would be better to give birth in own country. Luckily enough it was our final year in Nigeria and the timing for our plan to return home to our country was just nice i.e when I was under seven months pregnant.
Though sad leaving our second home, it was time to go home. On our final year, we stopped over in Aberdeen and went to Glanshee. I remember going to Glanshee, the road was winding and Aqeel vomitted in the car. The kids went on the sledge and it was cold. It was slippery and I fell. Alhamdulillah, I was ok. I think we spent abour a week there. After Aberdeen, we stopped over in Kuala Lumpur and stayed a couple of days.
when we reached home, we stayed at the guest house for one week as our house needed cleaning up. Arrangements for Kakak, Jie Jie and Abg for their schooling was also arranged. Kakak went straight to Primary 2, Jiejie KG3, while Abg went to KG2. All went to the same school i.e CCMS. Still, they needed time to adjust.
I worked for a few months before giving birth on May 11 1999. 13 years had passed, I still feel as if in a dream having you as my daughter. Alhamdulillah to Allah's creation. May you always be guided by Allah. Amin
