9 May 2022 (8 Syawal 1443)

 Yesterday we went Eid visiting to Pak Usu's house.

11am we went to Nasreen's friend house at Perumahan Lumut.  Around 12 noon we went home for zuhr prayer before proceeding to Pak Usu house.

About 10 minutes to reach Pak Usu's house, nenek called.  Since I was driving I can't answer the call.  Bapa tried to answer my hp but he can't seem to answer (not familiar with my handphone).

The third time nenek called, I answer.  She asked if we have left,  I said "yes" and told her we are about to reach Pak Usu's house.  She apparently wanted to follow us but didn't inform us early due to Iring just decided not to go as she has visitors.  We reached Pak Usu house 1.30pm and left about 3pm.  Nenek still didn't arrive by that time.  

We proceed to go to my Aunty Lehot's house (my dad's cousin).  It has been a long time since we see her due to this covid19.  She is sad when I mentioned her sisters who are in Miri and for 2 years she has not seen them. Because Every Eid they always come and visit her.  Land border has not open yet though flight just recently open.

We just wait and see.   May Allah lift this covid19 and enable us to live as normal.

Hari Raya Aidil Fitri - Raya ke2 & k3

May 4 2022 (3 Syawal 1443)

Today we went to Mak Amit and Mak Uda's house for the Eid.  Normally its on 2nd day of Eid.  Somehow this year they changed it.  

Only 2 houses.  As always lots of catching up and we only went to closest family due to covid19.

Some had fun with karaoke, some just sitting playing with their handphones and some talking.

But Ihsan had fun cause he crawled all over and stood at the table to find what fancy him.   He likes Fareeha and likes to disturb her. It is exciting for him since he is going to be 1 year old. He has been a good boy during the Eid festivities.

 May 4 2022 (3 Syawal 1443)

Our first day Syawal (Aidil Fitri- Eid)  falls on 2nd May 2022 (1 Syawal 1443).  Everybody was shocked especially we normally have our Eid 1 day after Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.  This year all the same with neighbouring countries i.e. 2nd May 2022 except Singapore.

Ihsan will be 1 year soon in 3 days' time.  He is more alert and looked so cute wearing his baju melayu.  He is not afraid of people and likes to explore.  He has been a good boy during the visits.

Since they moved to Pandan during Ramadhan (April), so the norm for Raya change a bit.  We waited for Ihsan and family to arrive at our house, take group photos then went to Neknda Hj Ranni and Atok at Nek Iring's house.  As always we are the 1st to arrive at Atok's. We didn't gather at my parents house this year.

Though still in covid19, all sop have to follow.  It was a good gathering as we receive gifts...hee...hee

Late afternoon we went to visit my elder sister in KB.  She has dementia and sometimes having difficulty remembering.  Sometimes I wonder among all us siblings, which one of us will go to meet our creator.

May Allah grant us good health  and make things easy for us.  Aamiin.

 

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri 1434H / 2013M

Assalam,

Hari Raya Aidil Fitri jatoh pada hari Jumaat 9hb Ogos 2014.  Terasa sayu hati Ramadhan berlalu.  Semuga segala amal ibadah sepanjang bulan Ramadhan diterma Allah dan diampunkan dosa dosa.  Amin ya Rabb.

Terasa kehilangan wajah wajah yang dikasihi - ayah Dan dua adik lelaki.  Mereka mendahului kami.  Semuga roh mereka dicucuri rahmat dan ditempatkan bersama orang orang yang soleh dan beriman.  Moga kita berjumpa di syurga Firdaus, inshallah.

Semuga Allah beri keimanan, ketaqwaan dan kekuatan untuk  istiqamah bagi meneruskan amal ibdah yang dibuat di bulan Ramadhan ke bulan bulan seterusnya hingga ke titik terakhir.  Kami mohon pertolonganMU ya Allah.

Semuga Allah sampaikan ke Ramadhan yang akan datang, inshallah.

Buat emak serta kaum keluarga dan handai taulan,  Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Maaf Zahir Dan Batin.

1 Syawal 1432 (2011)

Assalam,

Ramadhan dah berlalu semalam, hari ini 1 Syawal hari lebaran buat kaum muslimin di seluruh dunia.

Bezanya tahun ini, kami berhari raya tanpa ayah tersayang.

Kalau di bulan Ramadhan ayah memang suka ke bazaar makanan bagi membeli kueh mueh.  Ini cuma tinggal kenangan.

Tiap 1 Syawal, kami berkumpul di rumah ayah.  Lepas solat raya, ayah akan balik dengan jemaah dari masjid bagi kenduri doa kesyukuran.  Ini lah yang di buat dari tahun ke tahun sejak kami kecil.  Tahun ini berbeda dari tahun tahun yang lepas.  kita berkumpul dengan menziarahi kubur ayah.  Tahun tahun yang lalu ayah and emak memang gembira sekali bila anak anak cucu dan cicit berkumpul.  Nampak kegembiraan di raut wajah mereka berdua.  Tahun ini dari raut wajah emak, nampak kesedihan.  Semoga Allah memberi kekuatan kepada emak bagi perjalanan di masa hadapan.

Second Day Hari Raya Aidil Fitri 2010

Due to busy with Amira's further studies arrangement, my mind was not fully on celebrating Hari Raya Aidil Fitri 2010.  So many things need to be done.  What with her driving test, constant meeting with the relevant authorities, it was draining my energy until the last days of Ramadhan ie four days before Eid I was really sick.  I thanked my husband for helping with her UCAS clearing by meeting with the represetatives from UK at Rizqun and with the hospital arrangement i.e her medical check etc.

I didn't celebrate much.  Did not even visited my sisters and cousins in KB and Seria as well as my friends.  I hope they understand.


2nd day of Hari Raya - 11/09/2010

The above pic was taken during second day of Hari Raya Aidil Fitri before we went to BSB.  We always go to BSB during second day of Hari Raya to visit my husband side of the family.  This year there is something different.  After many years, I managed to finally get our raya photoes taken at the studio so that Amira can bring with her to UK.  I also reprinted 2 sets each for the grandparents which we gave during Hana's birthday in seria.
