As Salam,
Ever get one of those days where you knew something is up but didn't realised it? This happened to me last year. Can't remember the actual date. You see, while I was going for a dental appointment at our health centre, I saw a Nigerian family going to the clinic but at the outpatient.
After I am done with the dentist, I went to my car through the front to go to the carpark. While at the same time, the Nigerian family came from the right side of the health centre to the carpark as well. I clicked on my car remote to unlock my car the same time the Nigerian lady did hers.
The cars were parked one behind the other - same brand and same color. I saw the Nigerian kids ran and went in to the car behind. I went straight to the one in front of me and looked through the rear mirror and saw the Nigerian kids were sitting happily in the car. But once inside the car, I felt strange coz when I sat on the driver's seat, it was far way back. I can't reach the brake or the accelerator.
I turned to the passenger seat, the wipes I put on the seat earlier was not there. The stuff I hung on the rear mirror was not there. I thought it must have fell so I looked down but find nothing. I looked at the back seat, it was the same. But I was still wondering why was the car different. Luckily I didn't switch on the ignition. While I was still puzzled and wondering, I saw the Nigerian lady just walking normally toward the car until she came standing at the driver's side of the car I was in. There was no panic on her face. Once I saw her standing there, I suddenly realised that I went into the wrong car!! My goodness!
I said, "I don't think this is my car. I am so sorry." I continued saying, "No wonder I felt different."
The Nigerian lady said, "I was wondering why my kids went to the car at the back because I parked in the front." By then we were both talking and laughing and apologising at the same time. What a day!!
i always like this story of yours..it always put a smile on my face hehe..
