Walk about in Cardiff

7th April 2012

Today we went to the agency's office for contract signing and bond payment for the house kaka and her friends are going to move into in July 2012.  They had to move to the new house by end June 2012 due to the current landlord is going to sell his house.  That's why after they looked around at various accommodation, they finally decided on the 6 bedrooms house just around the corner of their present house.  Just a walking distance away.  But to go to the Uni, they still need to go on the bus.

I will be viewing the new house on Wed 11th April.  See below kaka current house:

We were at the agency more than two hours and some confusion as to the advance rental payment and bond.  And they have to find the 6th person, if not they have to pay extra GBP55 on rental plus GBP16 for bond.  Insya Allah, they will find the 6th tenant.  And insya Allah, kaka will proceed with her "meninggi tahap".  Semuga Allah perkenankan.  Amin Ya Rabb.  You can do it Ka!!


Ka,
Though you are feeling your lowest at the moment and feels as if the world is against you, bear in mind that, when you look back to this day, you will see that all the hard work is worth it.  People are there to support you especially your family.  We have gone through what you have experienced but it will not be your last.  It will come at different time in your life, and always be prepared for it.  Ujian yang Allah beri menunjukkan Allah sayang akan hambaNYA. Once you have accepted the situation (redha), the road ahead and whatever comes your way is easier.


Always remember, Allah is always with you.  Work your best to achieve what you came for and pray for HIS guidance.  Never, never GIVE UP! Just because you didn't get what you want, doesn't mean Allah neglected you.  HE knows what is best for you.  REDHA lah akan pemberian Allah.  Always be thankful (s yukur)for the things Allah has given you.  Solatlah, berdoalah dan most of all berusaha.  


After that, kaka and I went to the city centre.  But I am still trying to find out where the Cardiff Mosque is.  I saw one on the way to the city, but that is not the one they go to.

Due to the cold weather even though it is spring, in town I drank tea.  At home I drank tea.  Can't remember how much I dranked tea so much so that I can't sleep at night.  I forgot that I am not supposed to drink tea before bed.  Ha..Haa..I told kaka and she laughed at me!

Hopefully, I wish by the end of my trip here, one of kaka's friends will bring me to the mosque.  Whenever I go or during our family vacation, we always try to go and make a visit to the mosque especially when I can pray in it.  That's why everytime I watched Jejak Rasul on TV, my heart will automatically says: " I will go to these mosques one day!", insya Allah.

Looks like my trip back to London will be on 12th instead of 13th due to kaka trip to Italy is very early the next morning.

Bon Voyage kaka!  Semuga dalam perlindungan Allah dan selamat pergi dan kembali.  Take care kaka, Amirul, Athiyah & tunang.  Take care of one another.

Bar-B-Que in Cardiff

Kami bertolak dari Kota London coach sation 1420 dari gate 20.  Bas terlewat 20 minit.  Kita sepatutnya sampai Cardiff jam 1730.  Tapi disebabkan di beberapa tempat jalan raya jam, kita sampai di Cardiff jam 1900.  Cuaca redup, berangin dan sejuk sekali walaupun ianya sudah musim bunga.  Ini menjadi lebih trajis bila bekalan letrik di rumah kaka black out sejak hari Rabu 4hb April 2012.  Dibwah ini adalah gambar gambar yang sempat di rakam:

Walau pun tiada bekalan letrik, kawan serumah kaka membuat persediaan menyambut kami dengan Bar-B-Que disebabkan siang masih panjang.  Agak agak dekat jam 9 malam baru keadaan menjadi gelap.  Saya difahamkan satu dari outlet untuk shower di bilik mandi terbakar.  Tapi air panas untuk mandi masih ada di kamar mandi yang sebelah dan di paip air bath tub.


Di basement cuma satu outlet yang boleh di pakai.  Setelah jam 8malam, barulah mereka sedar bahawa mereka boleh menggunakan wire extension di sambong dan masok ke jendela kaka dan terus ke living dining cum tv room mereka.  Dengan ini mereka pun dapat letrik dengan membawa lampu study.  Baru lah terang bilik.  Sebelum itu menggunakan lilin.  Tapi suasana di bilik memang sejuk dan ada yang berselimut kerana tak tahan sejuk, lebih lebih lagi saya yang baru datang ke sini.  Ada teman teman kaka balik ke rumah mereka untuk mengambil air blower bagi kegunaan kami.  Terima kasih kerana susah susah dengan Bar-B-Que dan penjamkan air blower.

Terima kasih buat semua atas layanan, masakan yang di sediakan selama bermukim di Cardiff.  Semuga semua anak anak berjaya dengan cemerlang menghadapi pepereksaan bulan June 2012 nanti.  Walaupun anak anak berasa tertekan, ingat lah Allah sentiasa bersama.  Berusaha dan doalah kepada NYA.  Insaya Allah, DIA Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui.

Jadilah anak anak yang soleh dan solehah yakin akan rahmat dan kasih sayang Allah.  Amin

Highlight in London

Today is the highlight of our trip in London.  It is also our last day too.  After breakfast, we went on the Paddington underground tube to London Central Mosque at Baker Street Station.  London Central Mosque is located near Regeant's Park at Park Road.  Alhamdulillah, dapat solat dalam masjid London.  Though it is not as nice as the mosque in Japan that I went to last November 2011.  See pic below of the mosque:

2nd place we went to is Sherlock Holmes' place at 221B, Baker Street.  It didn't click my mind when I saw Sherlock Holmes' heads on the wall of the Baker Street Statiion.  Only when we passed it on our way to the mosque, we saw tourists queuing up at the entrace.  We decided to go there on our way back from the mosque.  I love Sherlock Holmes stories when I was a teenager.  See pic below of Sherlock Holmes' place:

Next we went to London Beatles' Store next to Sherlock Holmes shop.  So many souvenier gifts but quite pricey.  See below the pics:

The highlight of the day?? The WICKED musical at Apollo Victoria Theatre.  We got the CD track.  But can't take pics during the show.  Loving it!!

What a night to remember!  Don't know when I will be coming again to London to see musicals.  The last time I came to see musical was 24-25 years ago with Hjh Sam.  We watched Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, and a musical about train engines which were running on diesel, electric, steam etc running on roller blades.  I still have the CD track.  


I just hope kaka will have a clearer mind now and may Allah guide you.  Think positively.  Concentrate for the coming June.  Prepare well.  Bila fikiran berserabut, ingat dan berzikir lah kepada Allah.  He will guide you.


Redha lah dengan pemberian Allah dan bersyukur atas nikmat yang di beri.


Berusaha dan berdoa disertakan dengan iman dan tawakal kepada Allah untuk kejayaan.  Ingat lah Allah ketika senang dan susah.  Makin kita berdoa makin Allah suka.  Semuga kaka dan semua anak anak mama dalam perlindungan dan rahmat Allah hendaknya. Amin

Outing with Amira in London

We went to Westfield.  Such a big shopping mall and I understand from Amira it is the biggest in Europe.  When I was in London 26 years ago, none of it.  Even the black cab, there are no longer just in black but so many colors.  Very colorful indeed!  See below pics of the cabs!

We watched movie on the 3rd floor "Mirror Mirror" which showed around 1140am.  We came around 11am so we have time to go in as they have all the movie adverts.  Still have plenty of time.  Got some souveniers for the sibblings.

We went back to the hotel around 4pm.  Around 6pm we went to Brunei Hall to meet Abg Yamin and went to Tinsletown American Diner and Milkshake for Bar-B-Q steak etc for our dinner.  Good food indeed!  Below are the pics:

Kota London

1st April 2012

Kapal terbang mendarat di Heathrow airport at Terminal 4 jam tempatan 0710 pagi.  Perjalanan kali ini begitu jauh buat saya.  Perancangan ke sini adalah tahun depan.  Tapi Allah Maha Tahu segala nya dan tahun ini ada sampai ke sini.

Saya pernah ke United Kingdon 26 lalu ketika menunut dulu.  Kali terakhir kesana adalah 13 tahun lalu ketika singgah untuk pulang bercuti balik ke tanah air.  Perbezaan dan perubahan begitu ketara.  Transit di Dubai adalah juga buat pertama kali bagi saya menjejakan kaki kesana tapi ia begitu singkat.  Melihat orang orang Pakistan atau India yang begitu ramai dengan memakai jubah putih, nampak gaya mereka baru balik umrah yang juga in transit di sana untuk balik ke negeri mereka.  Kerinduan ke Baitullah mengamit kembali.  Baitullah lah tempat yang sentiasa di hati.  Jemputlah kami Ya Allah.

Sejak bertolak dari umah lidah tak henti henti berzikir dan berdoa agar perjalanan saya di permudahkan Allah.

Jam 0800 pagi saya sudah keluar dari terminal.  Tapi muka yang saya nantikan tak nampak.  Hati gementar takut kalau kalau dia tak datang.  Rupanya ketika saya lalu dia tak nampak.  Dari kejauhan saya nampak beliau dan berseru,: "Kakak!"  Seru lagi keli kedua dan melambai lambai kan tangan saya, baru dia nampak.  Gembira meliat Amira!!  Semuga kehadiran saya disini membangunkan semangat nya.  Insya Allah.
