Kaizen BTEC Reunion

As Salam,
Oh boy!! Here we go again, kan tercancel lagi this reunion coz last minit masing masing ada macam macam hal.  Sikit lagi me pun tak jadi due tu Babu Shy ah.  Geram...sekejap jadi sekejap cancel...apa dia pikir me macam switch lampu ke "on" "off" cam tu aje??  Maybe it is due to Babu Shy is reaching that certain "age".  Hee..hee...jangan marah Babu Shy.

Only three of us there at Kaizen i.e. Shy, Sam and myself.  See pics below for the occassion and the delicacies we chose.  Managed to get passer by to take our group pic too!

We had a good chat - some discussion of what's new, old memories, work etc.  Thanks ladies.  We do this again next time, insya Allah.

BLNG 40th Anniversary

~  18 March 2010 - Masjid Zainab Lumut  ~

The Khatam Al-Quran was supposed to be held in December 2009 and I thought I did not get to join as I was away on Haj and leave.  I told myself during haj just to finish reading the Quran whether I get to join the Khatam or not.  Fortunately, when I came back to work in Jan 2010 and queried our external affairs department, they told me that it was postponed to March.  I was so delighted as i get to join this event.

so, on 18 March 2010, I tooked part in the Khatam Al-Quran with my other colleagues, their spouses and children.  Maha suci Allah kerna menyampaikan niat dan keinginan untuk mengikuti khatam Al-Quran ini.  Alhamdulillah.

2010 Dec 31 - Grand Finale

Evening of 31 December  - The Grand Finale BBQ

While at Polo Club after the bowling tournament having high tea, Aqeel came to show me sms from Usu that they were going to have BBQ at nenek lumut's house for the new year celebration.  I actually didn't look at my hand phone as Rudy also sms to tell me.  This was sort of last minute arrangement.

When we reached home, after solat maghrib, we left our house at 7.30pm to go to nenek lumut's house for the BBQ.  They were about to warm up the grill for the BBQ.

I saw prizes for the games.  Food to barbeque were fishes, prawns, clams, lambs and chicken wings.

We brought popcorns since it was last minute thingy.  But that finished first.  We had music, good food and good company.  We had game and sing along to what ever songs were playing on the radio.  Good fun!!

After the games, we sat down and eat some more and chat.  We left nenek lumut's house after 12.30am.  It was a nite to remember.  Nenek ayah was not well and always laying on the bed.

2010 Dec 31 - Polo Club Bowling Tournament

December 31 2010

This is the day we were waiting for.  The big end of year family event.  We left around 12.30 noon and reached Polo Club around 1.30pm.  The others did not arrived yet.

Mak Wa came with the prizes and goodies for the tournament.  Group pics were taken before the start of the game.  The game started around 2.30pm.  See pics below for the event.

After swimming and eating, we left Polo club around 6pm.  The event was a success.  Everyone enjoyed the game.

More to come next year insya Allah. Some one suggested golf.  The kids asked, "Why?"  He said, "I want to win."  We miss you Amira.

Empire & Bowling 2010

Monday 27 Dec 2010 was a public holiday.  It was agreed kids will be spending time with the cousins and aunties at Empire country club.  We took them to check in.  After checked in they all went for a swim, kayaking and water volleyball.

We had our dinner at the Mall at Pizza Hut and celebrated belated birthday for Affan.  We sent the kids back to the hotel and went back home.

Tuesday 28 Dec 2010 - the kids continued with bowling at Empire before checked out.  I went straight to the bowling alley and managed to play on the kiddies lane.  It was good to see them having a good time.  This was just the trial run as the one on Friday 31 December 2010 will be the family bowling tournament with 4 categories : Adult male, adult female, teens, and kiddies.   Looking forward to it.

Christmas decoration at Euro Classic shop December 28 2010

After checked out I sent the kids (Khairee, Affan, Nasuha & Nasreen) to Affan's house while Aqeel and myself went to my aunty house in Berakas to send the stuff my mom asked me to give to her.

We went to Manggis mall to look for Aqeel's prom stuff, Happy Star, & Batu Bersurat.  I was so tired.  I actually wanted to go home early at least reach home by 5pm.  But we reached home by 7.30pm.  At least Aqeel got her stuff.

Amira, don't feel left out. We had our moments with You and your cousins for 18 years. You are now to make your own footprints and memory lane while you are overseas. We know you are missing us but you make full use of your time there durang christmas to go with your friends (Azimah & Ariff) to Paris. Imagine from Oct to Dec 2010, you have been to London 4 times, Nottingham 2 times, Sheffield 1 time, and Paris 1 time.  Did you know that your siblings would wish they could be there with you?  We love you....
